Dress – Free People | Sunglasses – Quay | Bag – Gucci | Boots – Zara

TGIF loves I hope you all had a good week! I have been battling some type of flu/cold/sinus infection since Sunday but I am hoping to be on the up and up by the end of the weekend.

In my eyes Free People can do no wrong and this dress is just another example.  I love the mini style with the psychedelic print, bell sleeves and the optional button down front. I can see pairing this dress with a pair of over the knee boots and a jacket as we get closer to fall (who am I kidding fall started yesterday it just doesn’t feel that way in Austin). I have been wearing these little Zara booties a ton lately as they go with anything and everything. What outfit can’t afford a little fringe?

I hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by. Shop this look via the images below.

Happy Thursday loves!

I hope you are all having a great week so far. I personally cannot believe today is Thursday – like where did the week go? We are getting ready to head to Houston tomorrow to visit Bryson’s family for the weekend. Two weekend getaways in a row and I’m not complaining. Our staycation at the W last weekend was great as it consisted of nothing but eating junk food and some amazing pampering from the AWAY spa located in the hotel which was decorated so cute BTW.

Today I wanted to talk about transitioning white looks into the fall. Who ever started the “no white after labor day” rule was seriously wrong. For fall I recommend pairing white and black looks together. There is something so clean and crisp about this and it is so easy to recreate with things you probably already have in your closet. Off the shoulder tops are another staple from summer that I am loving for fall. This one is great because it has the longer sleeves so it gives it a bit of an edgy look that can play into any season.

I hope you guys like this look and try a white and black style like this at home. Thanks for stopping by!

Hat – Lack of Color | Dress – Tularosa | Bag – Gucci | Boots – Zara | Sunglasses – Dior

Happy Friday loves! I am particularly excited for today because this morning I woke up and the first thing I did was book a staycation for Bryson and I for tonight and tomorrow. I couldn’t be more excited to “get away” in our own city and have some R&R with my BFF this weekend.

Whenever NYFW comes around I get pretty bummed about not being able to attend and this week was no different. NYFW is something I have wanted to attend ever since I started watching Sex in the City back in the day. As this week went on however I started to shift my focus on not being bummed about where I wasn’t and I started to focus more on being present where I was. Sometimes I forget to be grateful for all that I have going on as I’m sure you can relate to. This weekend I am going to focus on being present with my best friend and celebrating 4 amazing years with him. <3

Now onto outfit details – this dress, can we talk about it? Tularosa is quickly becoming one of my favorite labels. They always hit all of the right points with their styles. I found this dress at Nordstrom and it was an instant “YES” – the ruffles, the lace, the LBD with a twist style I just love it! I decided to dress it down a bit with these western style Zara boots that I’ve had for some time and my favorite Lack of Color hat from Melvina. My new Gucci Dionysus bag has been on repeat since my birthday. I am a little disappointed with how popular it is getting like the Chloe Drew bag but I still love it.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and don’t forget to try to be present with your loved ones. <3
