If I had to pick my favorite trend this fall + winter, it would be hats! I have been seeing all different kinds of hats trending this season and I think they are the perfect accessory to add to any outfit. Today on the blog I wanted to share a few of my favorite styles and which ones I’ve been wearing lately. Let’s talk hats!

#1 – Beanies

Hat – Topshop | Sweater – Topshop | Jeans – Levi | Booties – Steve Madden

How to style: In my opinion you can wear beanies with just about any outfit. Leggings or jeans and a sweater. With or without a jacket. Whatever works best for your climate!

Beanies have always been a go-to of mine for the fall and winter. They’re adorable and super cozy and they can make any outfit look a little more fall or winter-y. This cute faux fur pom hat is $26 and it comes in a ton of colors! Here are a few more beanies I am loving right now;

#2 – Fedoras

Hat – Lack of Color | Sweater – Dreamers | Jeans – Mott & Bow | Slides – Treasure & Bond

How to style: I typically wear fedoras with a more put together, styled look but again you can throw a fedora on with just about anything. I typically like to wear fedoras with jeans and a sweater or jacket. They’re also cute with sweater dresses!

Fedoras are adorable year round but wool fedoras are great for fall and winter. You can find a wool fedora in just about any color but this pink one is my current fav! Here are a few fedoras I am loving this season;

#3 – Conductor Hats

Hat – Brixton | Dress – Lush | Booties – Dolce Vita | Bag – Gucci

How to style: As conductor hats are more of a trendy look right now, I like to pair mine with a more trendy style. Sweater dresses and booties, or a sweater with OTK boots and jeans. Anything you feel comfortable and trendy while letting the hat do most of the talking.

This style has been my favorite this year! The conductor hat has been everywhere lately and I get it because they’re so adorable! Conductor hats are perfect for stepping up any look or covering up a bad hair day. I’ve been wearing this Brixton one at least once a week lately. Here are some more conductor styles I love;

#4 – Berets

Hat – NYC Underground | Sweater – BP | Jeans – Levi | Booties – Steve Madden

How to style: In my opinion berets are more of a classy style hat and personally I do not love how I styled this one above. I plan to restyle this one with this pink trench coat I recently got for more of a classy Parisian look. I think Berets are also cute with pea coats or oversized sweaters and boots.

Last but not least I am loving berets right now. The wannabe Parisian in me is loving this trend and when I saw this pink one with the faux fur on it, I knew I needed it! Here are a few more berets I love;

I hope you guys are loving hats as much as I am this fall and winter. If you haven’t tried one of these styles I dare you to. You will thank me later! Talk soon xx

Happy Tuesday loves! Today I wanted to share a few of my recent favorite Instagram posts here on the blog for you guys. The weather is finally starting to cool off here in Austin which makes me super happy and excited for fall attire! Bring on the coats, sweaters, boots and all of the fall accessories!

I hope you guys are having a great week! Talk soon!

Jacket – Boohoo | Dress – Boohoo | Necklaces – Etsy | Bag – Saint Laurent

With October right around the corner I think it’s safe to start bringing out the light weight jackets (crazy right?) I have been on the lookout for the perfect suede jacket for this year and when I saw this one from Boohoo I knew I had to have it. I was so surprised when this baby came in the mail because it is literally the softest (faux) suede and it feels so much more expensive than it is (currently on sale for $38 and comes in four colors). I wear my go to black leather jacket that is similar to this style a TON throughout the fall and winter so I knew this one would be perfect to add to my coat mix this year. I am wearing a size 6 which is a small and I would say the jacket runs very true to size.

Another thing I love wearing aside from the color pink is anything star print. Is anyone else star print crazy? I have been in love with anything with stars for over a year now and I would honestly say that the color pink + star print things take up over half of my closet space. This wrap style tea dress also from Boohoo is currently on sale for $16 and will be cute to wear into the fall and winter with thigh high boots. I am wearing a size 4.

 If you’re an Austin girl or you’re coming to Austin for the Austin City Limits Festival I have the best news – Boohoo is having a popup shop here in Austin starting this Thursday September 28th and will last throughout ACL. You can swing in and shop these two styles + your affordable festival outfits in person. They also have a bunch of awesome events going on throughout both weeks of the festival. I even heard one of the events will include the hotties from Bachelor in Paradise. You know I will be in attendance for that event! For more information on their popup shop head to their website or Instagram for details.

Thanks as always for stopping by loves!

Thank you to Boohoo for sponsoring and collaborating with me on this post. All thoughts and opinions are as always uniquely mine.

Sweater – Free People | Tank – WAYF | Shorts – Levi | Bag – Chanel

Is it even possible to do fall without a chunky sweater? I think not. Like in the warmer climate regions, how do they even know it’s fall without chunky sweaters, OTK boots and Pumpkin Spice Lattes? Thank goodness most of us do not have to worry about that and we can start bringing out the fall attire if you haven’t already.

Going along with my post from last week about fall staples, today I wanted to share my favorite of all fall clothing – chunky sweaters! This adorable and cozy Free People cardigan will be my go to this fall but I’ve rounded up a bunch of styles for you guys below. I picked both regular chunky pullover knits as well as cardigans and I’ve broken them down to price point categories.

Sweaters under $150

Sweaters under $100

Sweaters under $50

I hope you guys enjoyed are as excited for fall + sweaters as I am. Thanks for stopping by! xx

Sweater – Free People | Jeans – GRLFRND Denim | Slides – Gucci | Bag – Gucci

Happy September guys!

Last week Bryson and I were in Michigan for my brothers wedding and let me tell you – it gave me all of the fall feelings. I love the weather up there right now, the changing leaves, the crisp air. I was finally able to bust out a pair of jeans (my new favs above) and I think I wore sweaters 95% of the week we were there. Totally my favorite season + time of year no questions asked!

Today I wanted to share 7 of my favorite fall staples with you guys. In order to do fall correctly (in my book) you need to have one of each of the following in your closet;

A favorite go to sweater

A statement jacket

A good pair of jeans

A sweater dress

A favorite pair of boots

A pair of flat shoes

Fall accessories

I hope you guys liked these fall staple picks. Stay tuned for more fall style posts coming soon!
