Happy Friday loves! I am particularly excited for today because this morning I woke up and the first thing I did was book a staycation for Bryson and I for tonight and tomorrow. I couldn’t be more excited to “get away” in our own city and have some R&R with my BFF this weekend.

Whenever NYFW comes around I get pretty bummed about not being able to attend and this week was no different. NYFW is something I have wanted to attend ever since I started watching Sex in the City back in the day. As this week went on however I started to shift my focus on not being bummed about where I wasn’t and I started to focus more on being present where I was. Sometimes I forget to be grateful for all that I have going on as I’m sure you can relate to. This weekend I am going to focus on being present with my best friend and celebrating 4 amazing years with him. <3

Now onto outfit details – this dress, can we talk about it? Tularosa is quickly becoming one of my favorite labels. They always hit all of the right points with their styles. I found this dress at Nordstrom and it was an instant “YES” – the ruffles, the lace, the LBD with a twist style I just love it! I decided to dress it down a bit with these western style Zara boots that I’ve had for some time and my favorite Lack of Color hat from Melvina. My new Gucci Dionysus bag has been on repeat since my birthday. I am a little disappointed with how popular it is getting like the Chloe Drew bag but I still love it.
