Hi GF’s! I hope you’re having a good week so far!
Happy 10 weeks of quarantine! I hope you’re still doing okay and holding in there. One thing that has absolutely helped me get through this quarantine so far is moving my body 3-5 days a week! Working out is so good for the nervous system as well as everything else in your body and I think it is crucial to be moving right now – as much as you can. If working out isn’t your thing try yoga, going for walks, pilates, stretching, whatever you can to get your body moving really helps everything!
If you want to start working out but don’t know where to start – I’ve shared a ton of my at home workouts (currently following the BBG PDF guides) on my IG stories + I have saved them to my highlights titled at home workouts 1 and 2 if you’ve missed them. Working out has been amazing for my anxiety through all of this but also keeping to a M-W-F workout schedule has helped me keep a routine which is also very important right now! Between workout days I walk my dogs 2-3 days a week about a mile and that helps me too!
If you’re struggling to find the motivation to work out – let me tell you a little secret. For me having a cute workout set is KEY! If I know I have something cute to throw on for my workout – I am way more motivated and excited to get moving + I’ve heard this from you girls too! Recently I have been getting a ton of my sets from Forever 21 as they always have the cutest + most affordable looks. For me I don’t always feel like workout sets have to be $100 or more for one piece. I’ve had Forever 21 styles for years and they’re so affordable but also hold up really well!
