I’ve been super excited to share these photos from La Jolla on the blog because my girl Arielle Levy Photo really crushed what I wanted to do for this look. We had so much fun shooting at Windnsea beach and I just got to dance around in the sand and waves while she made magic. She somehow turned me into a mermaid beach goddess (just kidding) but I do always love shooting with Arielle because she really knows how to capture the look and style perfectly. Part of me just wants to pack everything up and move to San Diego so I can shoot with Arielle on the beach everyday!

I’m not sure why it took me THIS long to try styling a matching set like this one from Flynn Skye but I am officially obsessed and sets are my new favorite thing to wear. I’ve always wanted to try a set and I’ve seen them styled on other girls but for some reason I just never tried one. While I was shopping for our California trip last month I randomly fell in love with this one online and bought it. Now I am hooked and I think they’re so cute and obviously really easy to wear (hello they’re a matching top and bottom = no thought needed) which is great for the lazy styling days when you don’t want to think much about your outfit but you still want to look cute and put together.
