Believe it or not this pink trench coat is the first trench I’ve ever tried on, let alone owned. A trench coat was never really on my radar until recently and I think they’re adorable this season + they are a true closet staple. I am so happy I finally pulled the trigger on this one and of course it had to be pink. I also love the classic beige trench coats – I think they are such a classic + put together look.

Having never owned a trench coat before, I didn’t really know what to style with it at first. I quickly found out that trench coats are great for a dressier look like a dress with booties or OTK boots BUT the cool thing is they’re also cute with leggings and tennis shoes. I never imagined it would be so easy to style a trench because I always thought they appeared dressy. In reality a trench coat just makes any outfit look that much more chic especially if it is just leggings and tennis shoes.

Throw on a trench and you instantly look put together. I also think I will get a lot of wear out of this trench throughout the holidays over dresses for holiday events. If you’re like me and you want to try a trench coat but don’t know exactly what to pair it with try one with a dress and booties like I did or even with leggings and a simple pair of tennis shoes.
