I have no idea how we are already well into April – this year is seriously flying by! With the start of spring + summer comes the start of wedding season and whether you’re the girl who gets invited to 15 weddings a year or only 2 the question is always the same – what do you wear?
Tons of girls message me on Instagram and ask me what to wear to weddings and I’ve come to the conclusion there are 3 types of weddings; very formal (think black tie and long sleek dresses), semi formal (think short black cocktail dresses) and casual (think floral maxi dresses or short colorful).
What you wear totally depends on how fancy or un-fancy the wedding you are attending is! I’m sure we’ve all been to an event where you show up way over dressed or way under dressed for that event – knowing what you’re walking into at the wedding really helps you prepare for what to wear!
Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite dress styles from each category to help give you girls some inspiration for your next wedding or maybe even your next spring event – you could easily wear some of these ideas to graduations, parties, celebrations, etc!

I opted for this gorgeous red off the shoulder dress to show you guys you can have a little bit of fun with a wedding guest outfit as well – but don’t outshine the bride! Again always remember to find out what kind of wedding you’re attending before you show up in a floor length formal gown to a beach backyard wedding – that would be SO embarrassing!
To finish off my wedding guest look I paired these silver heels with these statement earrings (obsessed) and this fun crystal clutch.
