Happy Tuesday loves!
Today I want to chat about my favorite color – pink! Is it obvious? Of course it is! Pretty much everything I wear and share is pink. My clothes, my accessories and even my office and living room have hints of pink in them. To me pink is more than a color – it’s basically a lifestyle at this point and it has become second nature to me to wear and incorporate different shades of pink into my outfits and home decor. If you’re someone who loves pink but you’re unsure how to wear it or incorporate it into your wardrobe – don’t worry! I have a few tips and easy ways to wear more pink!
Seeing as it is October which is Breast Cancer Awareness month I thought this post would be super fun to share today! If you’re someone who is or was effected by Breast Cancer or maybe a close friend or relative of yours is or was I think you girls will find this post even more meaningful. Here are a few tips and tricks that worked for me when I first started wearing pink!
- Add a pink bag – I remember when I first got my pink Gucci Marmont and I LOVED it but I was unsure if it would go with a ton of outfits. This bag is now my daily bag and I have carried it nonstop for almost 2 years now – I love it! It looks cute with a pink outfit or even with an outfit that has no pink. Just the subtle touch of pink I think is so cute. You can add really any type of pink bag, backpack, etc and achieve that cute pink touch!
- Add a staple pink jacket or sweater – The very first pink item I ever bought that started my pink obsession was a light pink bomber jacket from Zara 3+ years ago and I still have it and wear it! It pairs so easily with an all black workout look (leggings + tee) and the subtle pink jacket makes the outfit look adorable! This pink cardigan from Goodnight Macaroon would give you the same effect and it is SO COZY! Currently my favorite cardigan for fall and winter!
- Make a statement – If you’re not ready to commit to a bag or even a jacket or sweater yet – pick up a statement dress like the velvet or corduroy ones I styled above as a trial run and see how you like it! Both of these dresses are super affordable so you’re not making a huge commitment with either one but you’re still getting a cute pink item and they’re statement makers which is always fun!
- Try pink leggings – I LOVE and truly live in leggings. If you’re one of those girls like me who loves leggings give these pink ones a try! Not only are they under $13 but they’re super comfortable and you can wear them for daily errands to straight to the gym. They’re another cute option to easily add a bit more pink to your wardrobe!
I hope you guys liked these pink tips and that they inspire you to try to add some pink to your wardrobe! If you do – send me a photo of you wearing some pink items via Instagram or straight to my email at [email protected] – I would love to see you rocking your pink!
